What Causes Headache Along With Neck Pain And Fever?
Question: I have neck pain. mild fevers under 100 , mild headaches, nausea and vomiting. Should I go to the ER as I went to an urgent care facility yesterday and the Dr. gave me some pills for Nausea and muscle relaxers for the neck pain. She said the neck pain was muscular. This started Saturday and I had a cold 1 week before that. She told me that if the symptoms persisted for the next 2 days to go to the ER for further testing. Please advise. I do have Fybromyalgia and diagnosed 10 years ago XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:

I understood your query
At this moment , you have mild headache and nausea ,vomiting which is same as occurred yesterday which was relieved by taking medications as prescribed by your doctor yesterday.
you can take the same medication now to get relief. if you feel better after taking medication, then no need to go emergency but if it persist, then better you consult doctor and find out the actual cause.
Fibromyalgia does not seem to be associated with the present symptoms.
hope you are satisfied with my answer
