What Causes Headache And Lightheadedness While Having Anemia And Anxiety?
Question: I am a 45 yr old XXXXXXX XXXXXXX female who has occasional bouts of anemia( thought to be iron deficiency and also unknown)...I have a fibroid that I am currently getting second opinions on to whether I need a myomectomy or hysterectomy due to the size. I have been tested for diabetes( negative).
Lately (since January 2017)...I have been experiencing lightheadedness...sometimes mild...sometimes moderate but still concerning. Sometimes when I deep breath it goes away...or when I eat something...I have read everything like symptomes of heart failure...anemia...hypoglycemia...low heart rate...stroke symptoms etc. I have an appointment to see a cardiologist and to have an echo cardiogram...an electrocardiogram...an ultrasound and to have my thyroid tested. I have also been told that I need to be examined for anxiety as well. Regardless...I know what Im feeling and also I notice that sometimes the right side of my face seems to get lightly stuck when I would try to keep my eyes open...it feels like pressure around my eyes or something pushing down on it. I have been to the ER several times but they all say that my vitals and my blood work is normal except for my hemoglobin levels. I have been toldn thay I have sickle cell trait and so I eat lots of vegetables...especially leafy green ones.
What do you think is going on?
