Question: 7 yr old complaing of headache and swollen feet with red spots after visit to beach. no fever

It can be swimmer’s itch which is the result of an allergic reaction to parasites in and around the water. Snails can release these microscopic parasites, which then burrow under your skin. Intense itching followed by redness, burning and small pimples are a common sign of swimmer's itch.
Headache may be due to stress or anxiety of the rash or starting point of some infection.
I suggest you to apply moisturizing cream to the itchy area and tab. Cetrizine may relieve ithcing.
