Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Well, if the chills still exist it could mean that the infection is still present, possibly because yours could be an infection with a viral-source. A viral infection will not respond to antibiotics (e.g. augmentin). Also, as your fever does not appear anymore it could possibly be because your infection is subsiding, as most such viral respiratory infections are self-resolving requiring only symptomatic treatment.
So the 2 possible scenarios in my opinion are:
+Either this is a bacterial infection and you are resistant to the antibiotic augmenting
or
+This is a viral infection, not requiring antibiotic coverage at all, and is self-resolving
Not, to battle the chills and sore muscles:
+Keep warm at all times, carry your best sweater to work
+Take a paracetamol or acetaminophen if you feel like your chills are coming on; this will help battle the chills as well as help with reduce any pain or soreness in your muscles
+Purchase an oral rehydration solution (either in powdered form or liquid form) and have as much as you can through the day; this will help replenish lost electrolytes and also hydrate you, which should reduce the soreness in your muscles
But all in all, I would prefer if you could rest for a few days longer, but at the same time I do also understand how work can get. Please do take care, and do not hesitate to write back to me anytime, I am always here to help you.
Best wishes.
