What Causes Headache On Left Side Of The Head While Treating Depression?

Question: Hello im taking buspar 5 mg and zolft 100 mg daily for panic disorder And depression. ive been on them for 8 days now and I seem to wake up in the middle of the night a lot and am tired a lot, although I suppose that could be my depression...the real scary symptom is that I get headaches on the left side of my head that get worse when I breath and I have a loose limb feeling and a lack of coordination. no fever or vomiting. had mild nausea one day but that passed. puplis are fine.bp is great. I had an ekg today for another reason (didn't bring up this issue) and it was normal. am I okay or should I worry about serotine toxic syndrome?
Brief Answer:
Consultation
Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.
This is definitely not serotonin syndrome. Don't worry. It is more likely your headache is related to your anxiety, or is a simple tension headache which will go away on its own or with Tylenol. This is not a serious adverse reaction to your medication.

thank you. is lack of coordination a common side effect of buspirone? im worried about the lack of coordination and sllep issues along with headache. do these meds commonly cause lack of coordination and tension headaches that feel like dehydration? with mild muscle twitching?
Brief Answer:
Followup
Detailed Answer:
No, neither Buspar nor Zoloft cause these symptoms (insomnia, headache, perceived lack of coordination, perceived muscle twitching). These symptoms are somatic symptoms of anxiety and panic. Your medications will actually improve these symptoms over time.
