What Causes Heart Palpitations, Agitation And Fatigue?
Question: Passed out two months ago from a vasovagal syncope trigger. A week or so later started to experience heart beat flutters and some feeling of agitation that usually is follwed by fatigue. Nerologist said this could be anxiety related and prescribed paxil 10mg. Been on paxil for 6 weeks still fatigue but seems to me helping with heart flutter and agitation. Could this be related to a heart issue and not anxiety?
Brief Answer:
May be yes
Detailed Answer:
The way you are describing your symptoms it could possibly be related to heart. We need to rule to arrhythmia especially atrial fibrillation as cause for your symptoms. You need some basic investigation which include and not limited to ECG, Echo cardiogram, Treadmill test and also Holter monitoring. If any abnormality noted than we may to to further probe it based on findings and treat.
