Hi and thanks for the query,
I am afraid this could be very unlikely to be arising from your blood pressure. I presume your cardiologist would have done necessary clinical review, main cardiac tests like the chest X ray and the Electrocardiography. If all normal, it is very unlikely that this should be related t a heart condition.
It might be important however to know if you have had any history of allergies, any past history of asthma or respiratory difficulties reported by any members of the family. I think the opinion of the pulmonologist should be sought. It is imperative to exclude the fact that you might react to certain atmospheric or environmental conditions of substances (allergens). Special tests for lung function (spirometry could be useful). complete blood test to search for raised esinophil levels and the measurement of Immunoglobulin E levels could be helpful in knowing if there is an allergic component or not.
I suggest you consult a lung disease specialist (pulmonologist or internist) for another proper clinical review. Kind regards as I wish you the best of health.

Possible, but unlikely under these circumstances.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,
It is really very very rare and exceptional for this to be an autoimmune disease. Grave's disease has a clinical presentation very classical and different from this.
Autoimmune diseases affecting the lungs, usually also affect other structures of the body. Basic tests like Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, ESR, C3 fragment, HLA B27, Rheumatoid Factor, Anti nuclear Antibodies, and others. The opinion of your pulmonologist really counts first. The option pf autoimmune disease is possible, however would be rare under the circumstances you present in your medical history. Kind regards.
