Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
She needs to be evaluated for the heavy menstrual bleeding and intercycle bleeding ( menorrhagia. ).
Please schedule a visit to a gynaecologist.
Have a detailed internal check up.
Also get a
transvaginal ultrasound scan done.
Please get the following blood tests done - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free
testosterone,
Complete blood count, Bleeding profile, Clotting profile.
She could be having a fibroid or a polyp in the uterus.
Also,
endometrial hyperplasia or cysts in the ovaries can cause such a complication.
Hormonal imbalance or disorders in the bleeding / clotting profile can result in heavy bleeding.
SO a complete evaluation should be done.
As she is feeling weak and dizzy, the hemoglobin should be assessed to check for anemia, and then
iron supplements should be started.
All the best.
Take care, and please feel to discuss further.
