Brief Answer:
Fluids and iron supplements needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The feeling of tiredness and sleeplessness is due to the weakness caused by the heavy bleeding that you are having. The best way to combat tiredness is to stop the active bleeding and start with iron supplements. This needs proper progesterone therapy under the guidance of a gynecologist.
Till then you can start taking plenty of electrolyte rich energy drinks like Garotade orally to combat the fluid loss due to bleeding.
Taking a light meal, preferably some lean protein and/or complex carbohydrate with a little healthy fat at least six times a day will help you.
Oral iron supplements are prescription drugs and you would need to see your physician for the same. At the same time, you can take Tablet Centrum 1 tablet in the morning 1 hour before/after food. You can also take tablet folic acid 5 mg once a day to take care of any folate deficiency.
The following foods are rich in iron and would prove useful for you:
a. Beans
b. Legumes
c. Grains
d. Meats
e. Jaggery
f. Green leafy vegetables like spinach

Brief Answer:
Yes it will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Yes you can try local progesterone cream. Since it is absorbed systemically less through the vagina it is best to apply the cream at least twice a day deep in the vagina.
Hope my answer is helpful.
