What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

Question: I am 31 with 2 children 11 and almost 8. I had my tubes clamped almost 7 years ago.
I started my regular period the beginning of August. I bled for the regular week then slowed to only spotting and after sex bleeding, this went of for a week. I then started bleeding heavy again for another full week. After 3 full weeks I have finally stopped however now I am bloated and nauseous and periodically have slight cramping. Should I be concerned?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Irregular bleeding and bleeding after intercourse can be due to causes like local lesions in the cervix or vagina including cervical cancer. Other causes can be dysfunctional uterine bleeding, fibroid, endometrial changes like hyperplasia or hormonal distubances.
I suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including pap smear and ultrasound, and get appropriate management.
