Hello,
You have a history of having HPV, had ovarian cyst; presently you are experiencing bleeding and pain after intercourse due to sexually transmitted infection (STI), such as chlamydia,
vaginal dryness (
atrophic vaginitis), PID,
endometriosis,
cervical cancer, polyps, rough sex, etc. Cervical cancer is the biggest concern. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist. Get repeat pap smear, STI test, imaging tests, blood analysis,
urinalysis (R/E and C/S), etc., done.
You will be treated accordingly, will be given conservative treatment or recommended surgery if required. In case malignancy is detected you will be treated accordingly. In the meantime, you should avoid rough sex, use vaginal lubricants to avoid vaginal dryness, take vitamin E supplements. Do not douche your vagina or use any strong perfume or any scented lotions. Do not wear any ornament in your private parts.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
