What Causes Heightened Sensitivity In Tongue When Water Falls On Hand?

When water falls on my hand, such in the shower I get a sensation in my tongue, like a tingling. At first it felt like a had a "field" sensation around my legs with the feeling in my tongue. That has past. Now its when water falls on my left hand I feel it in my tongue. I think this is not normal. I struggle with memory problems at times too, lost my car in a carpark several times.
It is most likely depression/anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
The abnormal sensation described by you is somewhat a thing which is not possible to happen on physiological basis. There is no nerve connection which can explain water falling on hand and tingling sensation in tongue. I must say this is not normal and indicates heightened sensitivity which most commonly occurs in depression and anxiety.
I have seen earlier query which was posted by you four years back and similar complaints were reported there. If I make a abstract of both queries the inattention part comes out prominently. It seems that you are experiencing inattention for a long time and that is making you nervous and having all these symptoms.
The another possibility for inattention/memory problem is ADHD that is quite common disorder throughout the world.
I request you to seek a personal opinion from a psychiatrist in regard to adhd and depression. I must assure you that there are multiple medicines and behavioral methods are available to treat any of these disorders.
I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards
