Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Your ALT values are slightly high, otherwise every thing is normal.
Consumption of alcohol, high fatty and carbohydrate diet, lack of exercises, sedentary life, obesity, painnkillers, herbal medications can lead to it.Many times one can not find cause for it.
What to do? Change of lifestyle required like...
Limit your alcohol
Do regular exercises.
Reduce your weight.
Consume more of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Get your lipid profile tested and a ultra sound abdomen done.
Limit high fatty diet, sugar, colas and junk foods.
In general there is nothing to worry but be cautious for future for better health.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

Please note that genetically, 3 of my grandparents and my father suffer from high cholesterol.
Genetic inheritance is the cause for your high cholesterol levels and this condition is called as familial hypercholesteremia.
Although the treatment for this condition is difficult but not impossible.
It has to be aggressively treated because this can lead to early coronary artery disease, plaque build ups and increased chances of heart attacks.
Treatment involves....
Dietary modifications
Regular exercises
Avoiding smoking
Reducing weight and using heavy doses of statin group of drugs.
Since life modifications and diet changes only are ineffective, you have to take statins.
Thanks
