I went through your query and understood your concerns.
In our body we have strict mechanism to control iron levels. Our intestine will absorb only required amount of iron.
Excess iron in blood is commonly seen in haemolytic disease in which blood cell dies early, means reduced life span of cell, so iron present in cell released in to blood.
Excess iron in blood needs to be treated, medications are available to remove excess iron in blood.
Better to get him investigated for cause of iron overload.
Liver diseases do cause increased iron levels. If you have taken more iron than required can also result in iron overload.
Fatty liver most common cause is obesity, in which excess fat accumulates in liver, which causes damage to normal liver cells, affecting liver function.
Alcohol intake is also a one of the common cause for fatty liver.
Early stage of fatty liver can be managed with lifestyle modifications.
Advanced stages needs medications.
These are my advice to control fatty liver.
