What Causes High Fever After Taking Hepatitis-B Vaccination?
Question: Hello, Doctor.
I had taken Hepatitis B vaccine about 6 months back. I week after the vaccine, I experienced high fever and my urine became foamy. It remains foamy till today. I had two spot urine tests. Both were negative. I also took a 24 hour urine test from SRL lab. Results are:
Protien, urine : 6.8 range <11.9/dl
method: spectrometry
24 hour urine: 156, range <150
volume 24 hour urine = 2300 ml.
I have read that vaccine can cause Minimal Change Disease.
Do my reports need further evaluation?
Can I work out and take protien powder in my diet?

Brief Answer:
Yes you can work out
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome back.
I have gone through your reports. Repeat test was nearly normal.
You can work out. I will advise please take healthy diet for work out like eggs , meat and plenty of water, fruits etc. Commercially available protein diet is always associated with some risk to kidneys.
No need to worry about blood reports.
Regards.
