I have had 3 stents (they have been stopping up last time July 2014) I have not had an ECG since December, I do have type 2 diabetes I take glipizede for, I take Brilinta, Metropol, losartan, rouvastatin, wellbutrin, prozac, and depakote for mood stabalization. Heart beats regular
Brief Answer:
This doesn't seem dangerous but dangerous issues should be ruled out.

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply,
I have read your history and meds you take,
I am a resident cardiologist my self so i believe i understand how things are going in your case.
Well 200 is not a normal heart beat in ANY situation, so i believe you will have to follow it.
Meds are are taking are quite appropriate and I believe you must be feeling quite fine with them.
If the beat is regular during the episode of tachycardia then it is a good thing.
But still one should find out if it's normal increase in heart rate or some arrhythmia so that risks can be weighed and meds can be adjusted or any new treatment can be started.
I would suggest you to see your cardiologist and discuss with him about Holter's monitoring. This is an ECG machine attached to you 24 x 7 and it keeps detecting your heart rythm , it records any disturbance in rythm if there, this can detect any abnormality happening at any time during the day or night.
Second thing you can do is, that you can get to ER when you are having tachycardia, and get an ECG done during tachycardia to know what it is.
I want to assure you that things don't look dangerous , but this should be followed carefully.
I wish you the very best of health,
Regards.
