What Causes Hip Pain, Swollen Foot And Warm Sensation In Leg?
Question: Pain in left hip and swelling in left foot and a warm feeling in left leg from hip to foot.
Brief Answer:
Deep veins thrombosis should be ruled out.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Since when do you have this pain? Was there any injury?
Your symptoms can be caused by deep veins thrombosis. Especially if the symptoms has started after some injury. There might be calf pain as well, however not necessarily. Swelling is quite characteristic symptom for veins issue.
Warm feeling and pain can be also caused by spine problem, however swelling can not.
I suggest you to consult your doctor as soon as possible. D-dimers should be checked at first and if elevated, Dopplers veins ultrasound has to be done.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
