Question: I become very warm in the middle of the night despite the weather and wake up sweating w/red hands. I decided to take my blood pressure when it happens and find it considerably elevated (144/72 to 155/84) compared to my usual low blood pressure 110/55 and below due to Parkinsons disase. Should I be concerned about this?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

What you are experiencing seems to be caused by Raynaud disease which is a common finding in women over 60 with Parkinson disease.

You shouldn't worry to much isn't a life threatening disorder and you should wait to discuss with your doctor about diagnosis and treatment.

If you were my patient I would start calcium channel blockers (Norvasc) to relieve the symptoms.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
