Acid reflux likely
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Ovaries at the age of 68 years become atrophic and no more secrete estrogen hormone.
Deficiency of estrogen hormone causes hot flashes, however they are more common in face and chest.
Hot flashes in abdomen can be due to gastric reflux. You can take some antacids to relieve the pain.
You should get an ultrasound done to confirm the cause of lower abdominal pain.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
