What Causes Hot Flushes At Night With History Of Hysterectomy?

Question: I am a 46 yr old female. I had a hysterectomy 15 yrs ago, partial, still have ovaries. I have had some health issues recently, and during all of this, I started having flushed, hot flashes at night. This prompted me to visit the OBGYN who ordered blood work for me to determine if possibly starting menopause. I won't be back to see him for awhile to hear what he thinks is the problem, if any. I do have my test results and wanted to know if you could give me an idea if this seems like pre-menopausal, post-menopausal, or non-related to menopause. My results are as follows: Foll Stim Horm 84.5, Prolactin 2.3, Estradiol 19, TSH-3rd Generation 1.44. Can you help in any way? Thank you.

With information I provided so far, are you able to tell me how close I am to being in actual menopause. If I have peri menopause does that mean I am further along than if I had pre-menopause? Or are they same thing? I only have symptom of the hot flushes at night, no dryness or other things I have read are typical symptoms. Does everyone have other symptoms before reaching menopause or does it vary? Will symptoms stop when I reach menopause? Or, how will I know when I have? Thank you for your help. Sorry so many questions.
Brief Answer:
yes
Detailed Answer:
Menopause is a gradual process. It occurs over a period of several months. If you are still having symptoms, then you havent achieved complete menopause. Symptoms vary from person to person. But they will completely stop after complete menopause. You will know gradually as symptoms cease. Blood hormone levels may change also, but they will be on the rise. It will take a few months for complete menopause to take place.
