What Causes Huge Red Itchy Rash Across The Entire Body Except Legs?
Question: Last couple days broke out with huge rash across entire body except legs.last nite took 2 aleve, within 1hr it was much worse. Especially scalp itching terribly and torso very red and hive looking. Suspecting a reaction to the aleve. I have been taking it for over a week due to a knee injury. Checking symptoms online seem to be right on. Any ideas?took some Benadryl to try and counter it. Thanks!

It can be caused by allergy to recent infection, any food, seasonal change, drugs, pollen grains etc. Drugs like Naproxen (aleve) may also caue allergic reaction.
If it started after starting aleve, then it is the most likely culprit in your case.
In such cases, I prefer to advise oral antihistaminics like a combination of levocetrizine and montelukast daily for atleast 2 weeks. Stopping the offending drug is most important part of treatment.
I would like to know about your thyroid profile and Diabetic status.

No diabetes or thyroid issues in the past.
Never had an allergic reaction to anything in the past.
