What Causes Hypertension During Pregnancy?

Question: hi,
I'm a 31 year old Caucasian female. I developed hypertension at 15 week's pregnant. my daughter is now 9 months old.
During my pregnancy I was taking 100 milligrams of labetalol once a day up until a few months ago. I weaned off slowly. I have a blood pressure machine at home and it sits around 120 over 70. But for the past 2 months I have been having random high spikes of blood pressure. When my blood pressure gets high I can feel it. I have tingling in my hAnds, in my feet and the top of my head. It gives great anxiety and I feel like I am going to die.
The only thing that eases my symptoms is if I lay down and cold cloth or compress on my neck and my forhead. Do you have any idea what may be causing this?

otherwise post delivery anemia and weak XXXXXXX ,lack of sleep can produce such symptoms.
