What Causes Impaired Executive Functions, Lack Of Attention And Memory Loss?
I have these symptoms/behaviors:
Speaking and writing difficulty - Making words is impossible. When I want to say "123" but it comes out "213" for example. I avoid speaking more than one or two words to a person for this reason. Letters and numbers are difficult to use. Writing is the same, I do not write well at all. People say that I do not answer when they talk to me, like I'm lost in myself.
Arms, legs - Making my arms and legs do what I want them to do is a problem. They do not coordinate. If I run, I fall. Reflex is strange, like a delay between what happens and reaction. I avoid moving about for reason this.
Eyes, ears - Sights and sounds, I cannot tune them out. Everything is too loud and too bright. I prefer to sit in a low light room with no noise for this reason.
Memory - I forget appointments, forget where I put things. But something that happened years ago is clear, I can it remember easily. Almost like its happening now.
Family - Not sure if it is relevant, but my mother was like this also. Same symptoms, she had many problems as well with it. Also, my grandmother had these symptoms. She used tranquilizers every day through her life because she could not control her nerves.
I had to write this message about 10 times but I know there must be mistakes. Sorry!
What are possible reasons for this?
Thank you, XXXXXXX

Detailed neurological examination/Psychiatric evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up.
I have gone through your other relevant clinical details mentioned in discussion with the fellow psychiatrist.
You need to undergo a thorough neurological as well as psychiatric examination, to get properly diagnosed.
Neurological-As I mentioned,Your symptoms can be of 'dementia'.So,you need to undergo detailed neurological examination for 'dementia'.
Psychiatric-Sometimes psychiatric conditions can mimic dementia and then this syndrome is called 'Pseudodementia'.As the fellow psychiatrist said that you might be having a 'psychotic spectrum disorder' which can also resemble 'dementia'.So,a detailed mental or psychiatric examination is needed.
I really feel sympathy with you and I sincerely advise that you need a detailed examination in addition to history which is possible only once you meet the specialist physically. So,dear friend, please visit a neurologist and a psychiatrist. It will be in the best interest of yours.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have some follow-up queries,I shall be glad to answer, else please close the thread-rate it and write a review.
