What Causes Implantation Bleeding While On Duphaston?

Question: My doctor gave me duphaston 2 per day for 10 days and while on my 9th day i woke up with low stomach pain (like period pain) and i found very little blood out of my vagina! What is that? Can i be pregnant or is it just begining of my period

It is unlikely to be your periods and could be implantation bleeding seen if pregnancy has occurred.

But it is difficult to differentiate periods bleeding of less quantity from implantation bleeding. Both are almost alike.

Wait for 5 days get serum beta hCG blood test done to confirm if there is pregnancy.

Duphaston is a progesterone hormone which supports pregnancy and helps in growth of baby. This is given to prevent abortion also. You can easily get pregnant while taking Duphaston.

Pain is also possible in early pregnancy.
