What Causes Inability To Withstand Cold And Frequent Urination?
Question: I cannot withstand too much cold. In office which is centrally air conditioned, I feel cold and have to frequently go for urinating almost on an hourly basis. Even during winter or rainy season when the climate is cold, if I start from home after having 1-2 glasses of water, I feel like urinating in less than 1 hour.
Brief Answer:
Maybe low immunity
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Not withstanding too much cold may be a symptom of low thyroid or malnutrition. Get your basic blood tests done including thyroid profile and urine analysis to rule out these conditions.
Getting cold and cough often due to cold may be sign of low immunity. For this get immunoglobulin levels checked.
Some probable diagnosis can be made only after getting the reports.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
You seem to have iron deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have gone through your reports.
Your reports are suggestive of iron deficiency, though your hemoglobin levels are normal. It may be causing symptoms of intolerance to cold. Diagnostic would be serum iron levels, transferrin saturation and serum ferritin levels. Oral iron therapy would be needed if these tests come back positive.
I would also like to see your thyroid profile, serum vitamin B12 levels, folic acid levels.
Hope it helps.
