What Causes Increased Appetite And Fullness In Stomach After Having Two Bites?
I need to know more about you and I understand your concern
Detailed Answer:
Good morning, It might help to know a little bit more about you. How long has this been occuring for you and was there any event in your life associated with the hunger issue. On the medical side, I would be interested to know if you have been suffering from constipation, allergies, depression and if there are any foods you can eat or is the size of the meal an issue? Can you swallow without difficulty or are you gagging as the food goes down? At what point do you become, if you do, nauseous? When you hear, smell or begin to swallow the food? Or, does the discomfort start after you try solid food? Can you please explain more?? Include any recent vitamins, new foods/drinks, medications and other health issues.
Also, have you lost a significant amount of weight lately, are you happy with your body image? Let me try to sort this out with you. Please respond with more information so I may try to help.
Thank you for the additional information

You haven't expressed that you are feeling any pain, so a gallbladder issue is probaby not a concern. You don't have any symptoms of esophageal problems so I cannot see a reason for an endoscopy. Emotionally I am wondering if something happened around New Years. I do not want to diagnose, but on first appearances it seems like you may have a bit of avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder which can only be diagnosed by a psychological therapist. If so, it can be fixed with cognitive behavioral therapy. If I am wrong and the absence of pain is leading me awry, I am thinking that biliary dyskinesia might be causing your food aversion, which you will have to see a doctor for. You don't mention any weight loss or any other issues relative to the problem of not getting solid food in. I suggest you follow up with psychological counseling and with your physician regarding the conditions mentioned above. Good luck and I hope I have given you some direction.
You are very welcome, I wish I could have seen you in my clinic
Detailed Answer:
You have a problem that is going to need a thorough work-up medically to rule out any medical problem I haven't thought about. I mentioned biliary dyskinesia because I had a patient with similar symptoms and was eventually diagnosed with that. Now that you say you have had a good year, have no obsessive compulsive disorders, if it is not a form of eating disorder as you suggest it is not, you are correct. You need a thorough work-up by your doctor. Thank you for coming to HCM!
Good Luck!
Hon, I don't know where you are but I am in Michigan, US

I would love to see you for any nutritional support you may need. Your first step is to consult with a doctor as both Dr. XXXXXXX and I do agree on. As he said, sometimes medical problems are hidden. Please get a doctor's visit, his opinion on getting an upper endoscopy. If you eventually run into a situation where nutritional medicine can help, my clinic is virtual, does not take insurance at this time and I only practice in 14 states via webcam, email, phone. If this is something you would like to consider, here is my url: http://www.nutritionalsynergyclinic.com. My profile is http://www.kathrynshattler.com and my free educational/motivational board is at http://www.pinterest.com/kathyshattler/. Please feel free to contact me after you have seen a physician and had any tests he may order including the results of an upper endoscopy, which I now think might be very helpful.

Oh, please do not eat a carton of eggs a day, dear
Detailed Answer:
You should only eat 1 egg per day, but I am glad things are improving and you are seeing a doctor. I look forward to things improving with you. You do not seem as agitated. Sleep peacefully tonight. Let me know if I can be of further assistance after you see your doctor.

Not agitated, but worried
Detailed Answer:
Ok, please let your mind be at rest. Since you are having problems eating I did not get into the egg issue. In fact it is controversial. I want you to deal with one thing at a time. Right now, please relax and focus on the primary problem, your difficulty eating, ok? We have a plan and let us follow through with that.
This is the issue with eggs. Too many eggs can contribute to heart disease and the guidelines are to keep eggs to around 3 per week due to the high cholesterol in eggs (300 mg per egg). Old guidelines suggested to keep cholesterol less than 200 mg per day and 3 eggs per week. But, new guidelines in 2013 said there was insufficient evidence to restrict dietary cholesterol. So, in essence, I say everything in moderation. A dozen eggs per day is way to much cholesterol, yet in your case to limit it to one per day seemed prudent until you visited with your doctor and we could learn more about your health.
I just want you to stop worrying. I gave you links and one was to my education boards. You can always browse through the nutrition one and the healing the inner self for some interesting, calming reading.
