Question: Hi - I have the following symptoms lately, all are new with no changes to medications: (1) unusual hunger, (2) muscle spasms (piriformis syndrome), (3) some weight loss without trying to lose, (4) vivid dreams. What lab tests should I do? FYI, I have Hashimoto's. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Few tests

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your symptoms. I presume you are taking levothyroxine for thyroid disease.
You should do following tests.
1. TFT ( thyroid function tests)
2. CBC, ESR
3. Fasting blood glucose
4. Fasting Calcium, Albumin, Phosphorus, Alkaline phosphatase and Vitamin D levels
5. Serum creatinine, Urea
6. Urine routine test

These are the tests to start with and based on the results, we may need additional tests.

Binu
