Question: I've been hospitalized 3 times for inflammation 'originally'on my appendix but now terminal ileum & cecum aswell. Laparoscopic appendectomy or ileocecectomy???

Before deciding on resection, proper workup including a CT abdomen with both oral and IV contrast should be done. Colonoscopy with biopsy of the affected areas macroscopically should be confirmed microscopically.
The final step would be to perform a laproscopy which can be diagnostic as well as therapeutic, based on the surgical team's evaluation.
