Question : I have been diagnosed with a UTI a day and halh ago and went in with the symptoms of blood in my urine, right flank pain and flu-like body aches and chills. last night I had multiple fever breaks and woke up three times drenched. I have been taking the medicine now for almost two days and although I feel I am getting a little better I am concerned about the fever breaks and what does that mean and I still feel like I am sick

Brief Answer:
Hello. You require change of therapy

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I havs gone through the details. So repeated break through fever indicate persisting infection and hence change of antibiotics is warranted. You can send a urine culture test and based on report, antibiotic can be chosen.
Till then drink plenty of fluids.
Thanks and regards
