Brief Answer:
Further blood work is needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam
This could be a possibile relapse of IM.
At this point to decide the further course of action, I advise you to get a complete blood picture and throat swab for Group A streptococcal infection.
Antibiotics have to be started if there is coexistent streptococcal infection.
Steroids have to be started only if there is significant reduction of blood counts or airway difficulty.
Complete bed rest is advocated for 3 weeks .
Get these tests and update me test results.
In case if the results are negative, no further action is required.Spontaneous resolution is expected .
Post your further queries if any.
