Brief Answer:
rule out gastritis or GERD

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

I have read your query and understand your concerns. I am sorry about what you are going through right now.

It seems more likely to be gastritis or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Your explanation of the symptoms suggest so.

You said that taking antacids hasn't helped much. But, How long did you try them? How often you took the medicines? What antacids did you try until now? Did you make the relevant dietary changes to overcome the pain.

I usually suggest a course of Tablet Pan D once daily early in the morning on empty stomach for 3 weeks. Along with this, dietary changes are very important. You need to eat on time everyday. You need to freshly cooked food, less spicy, less fatty and oily food. You should include lots of vegetable salads and fruits in your diet as well. It is also advisable to consume tender coconut water, butter milk and plain water as much as you can. Did you try all of these?

Continue to take cold water as it helps to ease the pain.

I see that your lifestyle is not sedentary. That is good. But, I guess there is a problem in your diet. More importantly with the time interval and type of food intake.

let me know more about these details and we can discuss further.

Regards,

Brief Answer:
no tests are required now

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for the revert.

I am glad that you would make the dietary changes right away.

Eno just gives symptomatic treatment. It does not cure the problem in the long run.

There is no mg for Pan D. It is just a tablet that comes as Tablet Pan D. Please get it prescribed by your doctor as it is a prescription drug.

As of now, no tests are required. Make the dietary changes and take the medicines under your doctor's prescription. Your symptoms should improve in a month's time.

Make sure you eat on same time everyday. And, never skip a meal. Have food atleast 3 times a day.

Take care and wish you good health.
