What Causes Intermittently Appearing Red Bumps In Armpit?
HIV is associated with rashes but.....
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
While HIV is associated with rashes, there are many people who also get rashes that do not have HIV. If you are at risk for HIV or if you just want to be sure that you are clear get an HIV test.
If the rash is itchy and aggravated by exercise and heat then it is most likely a yeast type rash. It could easily be treated with topical antifungals which you can buy at most pharmacies over the counter (without a prescription). If it is scaly it could be a patch of eczema and that would best be treated with a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone.
It would be a good idea to see your doctor and get an exam to determine the cause. It is also possible for you to send me a picture of it through this forum which may allow me to give you a better idea of what it the cause.
Thank you for using HCM.
Looks like yeast.

Hello and thank you for your follow up pictures.
This definitely looks like a yeast type rash. Yeast/fungal rashes are common under arms and in other areas of skin folds like between the legs or in some women under the breasts. I suggest trying an over the counter yeast medication like lamisil or ketoconazole. Use it twice a day until the rash is gone. It should resolve in a week or two (yes, it can take a while). If it does not then see your doctor.
Have a good day.
you are welcome
