What Causes Involuntary Movements And Inability To Respond To Stimulus?

Question: My Father was in a semi-conscience state for three days. He could open and close his eyes but did not seem to be able to see or respond to stimulus. Will this change? He has a lot of spontaneous body movement but can't do anything on command. He holds my hand and seems to be aware of who I am.
Brief Answer:
Get medical evaluation ASAP.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.
Your father's condition could worsen, he, most probably, had a stroke.
In my opinion, your father's condition needs a neurological evaluation and most likely, brain imaging studies in order to have a correct diagnosis.
Hope this helps. I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.
Take care.
