My son is 4 month old, from starting his right leg will be shakky for sometime..till now it continues...what will be the reason? Is it serious??pls do help
Could be normal or vitamin d or calcium deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your 4 months male child has right shaky leg for sometime.
This kind of shaky leg movement is not abnormal or serious. It is sometimes seen especially in small babies, low birth weight babies or premature babies where it is related to vitamin D or calcium deficiency. It needs no treatment on most children overgrow this shaky movement.
In my opinion, you should give vitamin d drops (1 ml =400 mg) 1 ml once a day till 9 months of age.
I also recommend you to bring the baby to sunlight (sunbathing) for 15 minutes daily so that adequate vitamin d and calcium develops in baby.
I would like to know what was the birth weight of child and whether the child was full term or preterm and whether child was kept in NICU or given to mother immediately. Also, whether child is on exclusive breastfeeding or on top feed.
Review back with above questions.
I hope this will help you.
Take care.

You should get the child examined by doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again to HCM.
I have read your question in detail.
Usually, such kind of occasional shaking is not alarming especially if the child is feeding well, achieving regular milestones and is actively playing. However, it's better to get the child examined by a pediatrician to make sure we don't miss any unusual conditions.
If you have any more questions, i will be happy to help.
Take care.
