What Causes Irregular Periods In A 13 Year Old?

Question: my 13 year old start her period in octomber 2014....since then her period was regular.......she is overweight ......she is start her diet and exercise and miss her period in march,,April30---May 6 she have last period, after 4 day today she in her period again,, is that normal? thank u

Your daughter is in her initial months of menarche, during this period mostly cycles are anovulatory.
Due to anovulation , she can miss her cycles or have irregular cycles, it is regularize in 1-2 yrs.
So do not take any stress and give her balanced and healthy diet.
Avoid spicy and oily food.
