
What Causes Itching Around Earlobe?

Question: Hello. My wife has a recurring hot itch on and around her earlobe that comes and goes, which she cannot ascribe to any soap, shampoo, etc. What might be the cause for this?

Thank you. Actually she doesn't wear earrings. So it does sound something of a mystery. Its around the earlobe on her neck and the earlobe.

My wife is telling me that Vaseline or other products help. It doesn't really show anything on the skin.
