What Causes Itching In Nostrils With Temprature Change?
Question: Hi,
From sometime now I am facing so,e issues with my nostrils , as soon as i feel there is a change in temperature my nostrils start itching & soon followed by a blockage resulting in cold.
Brief Answer:
hi, allergy of nose , anti histamines.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
In my opinion you have nasal allergy. Here whenever there is change in temperature / food some patients are prone to develop nasal symptoms - itching in nose, running nose, nose block, and sneezing.
If a patient like this comes to my clinic I would advise him to take anti allergic medicine like cetrizine for 5 to 7 days along with a steroid nasal spray. You can consult a nearest ENT surgeon and discuss about this treatment.
I will also advise you to avoid cold items, oily food, citrus fruits, exposure to dust and air conditioner.
Keep yourself well hydrated with lots liquids and drink boiled water.
Regards
