What Causes Itching In The Left Foot After Permanently Removing A Toenail?

It was a permanent removal. I have had one before with no problems.
Wondering if the Celebrex could be a problem, too or maybe the combination? Waiting for your insights.
Is there any other information you need?
Some more information and a photo of the affected area needed from you.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.
Allergy does not usually give symptoms only on one foot, so it is not allergy.
Celebrex is not the cause of the problem. Keflex may be, but not an allergy because mostly antibiotics may give fungal infection as a side effect. To confirm that, please upload a photo of the foot so I can have a look at those itchy areas. You can simply attach/upload it at the reports section.
Also, antibiotic for an ingrown toenail removal are not recommended in most cases, unless you had a specific complication.
Lastly, in order for me to tell if you can take all those medicines at once, please give me all the names of the medications you are using, so I can check if there are any interactions.
Looking forward to your follow up question.
Regards,
Dr.Papaqako

Sorry I guess I would like to close the consult.
Sure that it may be a fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up question.
I am sorry that you cannot post a photo. Anyway, I am pretty sure that it is a fungal infection due to the side effects or the antibiotics, so applying an antifungal cream will be helpful to heal it. Take Benadryl only as needed.
Also, I am sure that you do not need to take Keflex, since you have got just an ingrown toenail removal, because it is an open wound (which is not a closed wound) it will heal by itself.
Please discuss this with your doctor
Take care,
