What Causes Itching On Body After Taking Tyricten?
Question: I don't have HIV virus , I just to the man i met at the pharmacy that i met a girl naked that same day so i need antibiotic, Not knowing that he had to giv me tyricten 200/300mg , I used it for 4 days before i know its for those who have HIV, Now all my body is scratching and i had to stop it for 7 days now yet my body is scratching , Please what can i do and i hope using this does not affect my to be infected and i think is not going to damage anything in my body

Yes i am HIV Negative like the person , but what i am trying to ask is that is it possible for me to be infected with this tyricten 200/300mg drugs , Because i use it after i have sex with my partner , I only use it for just 4 days and i start scratching my body i stop it , But i am still scratching my body , Just let me know if i am safe with this drugs tyricten 200/300mg because i think is only people that have HIV POSITIVE always use it ..Please let me know if this tyricten 200/300mg drug with not damage anything in my body system or cause anything to me

Yes, tyricten can be used for the HIV positive person. As you are HIV negative, there is no need for you to take it.
This drug is usually prescribed with proper counselling. I don't know how it can be given to you on OTC (Over the counter).
This brand name contains emtricitabine and tenofovir. Both of this drugs have some side effects. But they do not have any side effects pertaining to skin. So your itching must be having some different etiopathology, for this I advice you to take consultation with dermatologist.
As you had taken it only for four days, it will not harm your body system. So from now you can stop it, if you are HIV negative.
