** 1. Truvada (tenofovir disoproxil fumarate+ Emtricitabine) and Edurant (Rilpivirine) is used to treat HIV infection. 2. Viraday is an anti Hiv Medication [a fixed dose combination of 3 reverse transcriptase inhibitors mainly Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate+Emtricitabine+ Efavirenz] which helps to slow down the growth of HIV Virus In body and Recover the Immune System. 3. The precautions for this medication would mainly be for the Efavirenz component which produces neuro-cognitive adverse events [dizziness] more than half of the time, but these effects tend to dissipate after the first several weeks. Dosing at bedtime of Viraday may improve the tolerability of nervous system symptoms. [dizziness] 4. because it is a fixed dose combination, thus should not be given to patients requiring dose adjustment like renal impairment [check with your renal function test]. 5. nausea, rashes, neuropsychiatric symptoms [dizziness],headache are the usual side effects, fever and rise in liver enzymes can occur, so check periodically.
