What about the discomfort of the pain? I do feel a change in my body, what can I do about the itching and how long will this go on? Will this happen periodically, come and go or will it stay with me. Also, I've never had a problem maintaining weight is it normal to have lost weight over the past year and half? From 220-162 at my age.

Brief Answer:
Local and oral estrogen treatments suggested
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Since the symptoms are caused due to deficiency of hormones like estrogens, hormone therapy has been used to control the symptoms of menopause including vaginal dryness. Local (vaginal) hormone and non-hormone treatments can provide relief. Vaginal moisturizing agents such as creams or lotions can also be tried. Local and oral estrogen treatments are sometimes given in combination for this purpose. This is more likely to take care of your breast discomfort, itchiness and pain as well.
For the breast itchiness, antiallergic tablets like levocetirizine for a few days would give you relief. You may also apply some moisturizing lotion over the area.
In the meantime, you need to get yourself evaluated for the possibility of development of osteoporosis which means loss of calcium from bones which could be behind the pain and discomfort.
Wishing for a quick recovery.
