What Causes Itching Sensation Behind Ears?

Question: Between my ear and skull "behind both of my ears " this area itches.

I am sorry to hear that you are having itching behind your ear. You could have a fungal infection behind the ear. This area can sweat a lot and this allows for growth of fungus. I would recommend using a OTC anti-fungal cream like lamisil.

It could also be allergy as this area because it gets sweaty can attract pollen and dust to accumulate behind the ear. For this I would recommend using a hydrocortisone cream over the counter.

And lastly it could be related to excess oil produced from glands just behind the ear. This is usually treated with good soap and water and being sure to dry the area well after bathing

3. Extra oil gland production clean with good soap and water
