What Causes Itchy And Painful Blisters On Palms, Legs And Thighs?

Molluscum contagiousum most probably
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM..
I read history and saw photos. I could conclude that most probably your daughter is having molluscum contagiousum. It is a viral infection caused by pox virus. As in photos, there may be whitish, umbilicated, descrete paupular eruptions. They may be usually asymptomatic. But,sometime may be itchy.Pain may be there due to secondary bacterial infection in the lesions. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and perfect treatment. However, I would suggest as follow..
There may be different modalities for the cure of molluscum contagiosum..
- electrocautery under local anaesthesia
- cryotherapy
- laser treatment
- chemical cautery .. Salicylic acid 12% may be used
- FFU cream
You discuss with dermatologist and go for treatment. Along with any mode of treatment, I advise immunomodulator like levamisole 50 mg daily at night. To improve or control secondary infection, antibiotics may be given. After total cure, long term follow up is neccessary as relapses may be there.
I hope this would help in managing your daughter's problem. Still, any query..you are welcome.
Thanks..
