What Causes Itchy And Painful Skin Tags On Nipples?
Question: I am a male and 68 years old. I have skin tags on both nipples that itch at times and are quite painful. My nipples are hard and pointed at these times. I have tried aloe, itching creams (1%), and skin softening creams that have given temporary relief. The itching keeps coming back. I am a diabetic - Type 2. I take metformin, simvastatin, lisinopril, and nexium, as well as vitamin d3, and 81 mg aspirin. Any suggestions?

You surely have developed nipple eczema .
Now this skin problem and can distressing in nature since it tends to be recurrent .
The most important approach to your problem is skin moisturisation .
You need to regularly apply plenty of skin moisturisers to both the nipples daily .
Apply it atleast two to three times daily to prevent recurrence .
During acute itchy episodes ,apply cortisone skin cream over the affected areas trove daily for two to three days .
Wear cotton undergarments so as to avoid excessive itching .
People who are prone to certain type of skin eczematous might continue to develop these again and again ,hence proper care of skin is required .
