What Causes Itchy Bumps On Back And Legs?

Question: Thank you. I seem to have an allergy. I woke up this morning with cluster of little bumps all over my back, my legs and it is very itchy. I am a 75 year oll woman and was given one of those fleece blankets for New Year's. What can I buy to stop the itch or should I go to an allergist? Thank you for any advice you ca
n give me.

This is probably an allergic reaction to the new fleece blankets. I wish suggest that you keep them away and don't use them again. Take Zyrtec as recommended by the pharmacist. This stop the itches and prevent further spread of the rash.

Thank you for your help Doctor. My husband will go get Zyrtec and I will make sure not to use that blanket again.
I will see an allergist if the condition does not improve.
