What Causes Itchy Rashes Around The Waist?
Question: My husband works outside in the heat last week he developed an itchy rash around his waist now it's in his feet and armpits. He said the bumps are small horse shoe shaped. Is this an allergic. Reaction?

I have gone through your complaints and it could be either sweat dermatitis or miliaria which is prickly heat.
I would recommend him to apply cortisone cream and some soothing lotion like calamine lotion on the affected areas.
If it is associated with itching he can take antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
