What Causes Itchy Red Rashes On The Body?

Maybe your doctor meant hardness water
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
You have already seen a dermatologist. He has suggested to test water as it may be causing skin allergies. I will just continue on these lines.
In some people hardness of water i.e electrolyte content of water may cause allergies in some people. Most probably that is what your doctor meant. There may also be germs in the water that may be causing allergy.
Water can be tested by some of the laboratories specifically meant to check hardness of water. Another way to check it is by devices that are carried by sales representative of water purifiers.
Now the question is to how to remove hardness. Firstly we have to remove hardness in the drinking water. It may all be starting in the gut. It can be effectively done by reverse osmosis (RO) water purifiers. You can get one installed in your home. Bottled with low PPM is also another option.
Hardness in bathing water can also be removed by water purifiers meant for it.
Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
