What Causes Knot In The Knee With Rashes On The Shin?

Question: I fall 10 days ago and devloped a large knot on my knee, now a little larger than a ping pong ball. My calf now has a large red rash on the shin and my calf is wollen down to my toes. Do I need to have thos looked at or give it more time.
