What Causes Left-sided Abdominal, Back And Groin Pain?
Question: Weird niggly sensations lower left abdomen, lower left back pain (2/10), swollen left groin (no feelable lumps), just above penis. Really worrying its cancer! My doctor said a few months ago my back pain just generic back pain related to work, lifting kegs etc. Im a hypochondriac though and all these symptoms are making me worry its like cancer is spreading!

So in your opinion it isnt cancer? Its probably a mix of anxiety and actual back pain? What would be causing the swelling in my lower left groin? Im foing fo take to my doctor about CBT again! Thanks!

If people have a pain that is made up either psychologically or mentally, they give a simple location, This spot, or Arm, Or LEg, they never give the path of a nerve.
Yours is a path of the nerve that comes out of the top of the lumbar spine. and... you mention back pain.... it's got to be at the start of the nerve's path to give that path of those symptoms. That's a common spot of back problems. It isn't a spot where cancer arises. Nerve pain also affects circulation and can cause the feeling of swelling in most and actual swelling occaisionally.
