Brief Answer:
Hello. This could be diverticulitis or a peptic ulcer

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Pain there is most often diverticulitis--an inflammation of a small pouch in the left colon. That is diagnosed with an exam and a CT scan with contrast of the abdomen, and it's treated with a course of two different antibiotics.

Alternatively, this could be pancreatitis or a peptic ulcer.

You need to see a doctor for an examination, blood work, and/ the CT scan.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
